NovaStar A8s-N

The A8s-N is a high-end full-featured small receiving card from NovaStar, designed for professional LED displays requiring superior image quality and advanced features. Supporting the exclusive Image Booster technology of NovaStar, the A8s-N can precisely calibrate the color gamut and grayscale of the screen, improving grayscale by 64 times for exceptional image quality. The Image Booster technology includes Color Management supporting standard color gamuts (Rec.709, DCI-P3, Rec.2020) and custom gamuts, Precise Grayscale calibration for 65,536 levels (16bit) to fix display problems at low grayscale, and 22bit+ enhancement for smoother images with more details in dark areas. With other various functions, such as HDR (HDR10 and HLG support), Pixel Level Brightness and Chroma Calibration, Quick Adjustment of Dark or Bright Lines, Low Latency (1 frame for PWM driver ICs), 3D support, Individual Gamma Adjustment for RGB, 90° Image Rotation, and Free Image Rotation (any angle with MCTRL R5 controller), this receiving card can greatly improve the brightness, grayscale and color performance from every aspect, offering users an ultimate visual experience with a uniform, smooth and lifelike image. The A8s-N uses high-density connectors for communication to limit the effects of dust and vibration, resulting in high stability. It supports up to 32 groups of parallel RGB data or 64 groups of serial data (expandable to 128 groups of serial data). Its reserved pins allow for custom functions of users. Thanks to its EMC Class B compliant hardware design, the A8s-N has improved electromagnetic compatibility and is suitable for various on-site setups that have high requirements. Maximum resolution: For PWM driver ICs, up to 512×384@60Hz (8bit) or 512×256@60Hz (10bit/12bit). For common driver ICs, up to 384×384@60Hz (8bit) or 384×256@60Hz (10bit/12bit). When working with COEX controllers and 10bit video sources, PWM driver ICs support 512×384@60Hz and common driver ICs support 384×384@60Hz.
