The CVT10-S converts a single 10G single mode fiber input into 10 Gigabit Ethernet outputs, enabling long-distance transmission up to 10km. Featuring a compact 1U half-width design (254mm wide), it is perfect for installations where rack space is at a premium. Includes 2x 10G SFP Module-S pre-installed (single mode fiber).
Supports the first 8 Ethernet ports when connected to the 10G (8B/10B encoding) optical interface of front-end devices. Supports 10x Ethernet ports when connected to the 10.3125G (64B/66B encoding) optical interface of front-end devices.
CVT10: PRO vs Standard
This model uses Single Mode fiber. For new installs, choose Single Mode — it offers longer distance and comparable pricing. Avoid Multimode unless reusing existing multimode fiber.
