The CVT4K-S is a high-capacity 10G single mode fiber converter engineered for large-scale LED display applications where maximum reliability and uptime are critical. This robust converter transforms 10G single mode fiber inputs into 16 Gigabit Ethernet outputs, enabling connection to up to 16 receiving cards or LED display sections. The CVT4K-S features comprehensive redundancy protection: four optical ports configured as OPT1&2 Primary and OPT3&4 Backup, ensuring continuous operation even if one fiber link fails. The converter also offers dual power supply options (Neutrik powerCON or 3-Pin Power Socket), allowing flexible installation and providing power redundancy for mission-critical applications. Professional Neutrik etherCON RJ45 connectors throughout ensure secure, locking Ethernet connections that prevent accidental disconnection in demanding environments. The CVT4K-S supports transmission distances up to 10 kilometers (6.2 miles) over single mode fiber, making it ideal for large outdoor installations, stadium displays, and long-distance LED display networks where extended transmission range is required. With its 2U full-width design (482.6mm wide) and industrial-grade construction, the CVT4K-S delivers reliable performance for high-capacity LED display installations where equipment failure is not an option.
