NovaStar ET1S-G

The ET1S-G is a compact, entry-level media server designed by NovaStar for small-scale LED or LCD fixed installation applications. This cost-effective solution delivers professional-grade media playback capabilities in a compact 1U form factor, making it ideal for exhibitions, showrooms, small conference rooms, retail displays, and creative installations where space and budget are considerations. The ET1S-G features up to 4K×2K@60Hz output capacity through multiple display outputs (1x DP 1.2, 1x HDMI 2.0, 4x HDMI 1.3), enabling connection to a single large display or multiple smaller displays. With 4 layers of simultaneous playback plus 1 audio channel, users can create rich, multi-layered presentations with video, images, PowerPoint content, NDI streams, and web sources all playing simultaneously. The server is powered by an Intel® Core™ i3-1215U processor (6 cores, 8 threads) with 16 GB DDR4 RAM and integrated graphics, providing reliable performance for 4K content playback. Built-in Kompass FX1 software offers intuitive media management, layer control, crossfade transitions, and advanced features like layer masking and cropping. A single output can be split into up to 1024 partitions, enabling quick mapping for ultra-wide or custom-shaped displays. The ET1S-G supports hardware decoding of H.264, H.265, MPEG-4/2, and WMV formats, PowerPoint presentations up to 1080p, and various image formats.
