NovaStar MG421

The MG421 is a 4K AV over IP decoder that forms part of NovaStar's MG Series distributed image processing and control system. The decoder receives IP streams from MG420 encoders and displays the corresponding information on display devices, enabling network sharing of audio and videos across distributed locations. Adopting H.264 and H.265 decoding protocols, the MG421 provides low-latency (60ms or less) and high-quality audio and video experience with support for up to 4K×2K@60Hz 4:2:2 video processing. The MG421 features NovaStar's industry-leading nanosecond synchronization technology, combining source synchronization, NetSync, and NovaSync to achieve full synchronization of output images across all decoders. This fundamentally eliminates asynchronization of mosaic images from different decoders and tearing when playing high-speed moving videos, ensuring perfect synchronization that stands tests of naked eyes and cameras. The decoder supports flexible screen configuration with up to 8× 2K×1K layers for free layout, enabling flexible and excellent visual effects. It adopts NovaStar's SuperView 3.0 scaling algorithm to reconstruct image details, ensuring clear and sharp images after scaling. The MG421 features powerful EDID management, allowing for customized output resolutions and breaking common output resolution limits. Output connectivity includes Gigabit Ethernet (LAN/PoE) with PoE 802.3AT power supply support, and an optional 1G optical port (OPT) that can serve as backup for the LAN port. The decoder supports accompanied and independent audio inputs with 3.5mm analog audio connectors, supporting dual channels with depth up to 16-bit and sampling rate up to 48 kHz. With its nanosecond synchronization, flexible layer management, and comprehensive feature set, the MG421 is ideal for control rooms, large conference communication centers, monitoring centers, data centers, and dispatch centers requiring synchronized multi-display AV over IP solutions.
