NovaStar CX80 Pro

⚠️ DISCONTINUED - END OF LIFE (EOL): The CX80 Pro was a flagship 8K LED display controller from NovaStar's COEX series that has been discontinued. This model is NOT supported by the latest version of VMP (Vision Management Platform) software. The CX80 Pro featured flexible pluggable input cards: Input Card 1 provided 1x HDMI 2.1, 1x DP 1.4, and 4x 12G-SDI inputs, while Input Card 2 offered 4x HDMI 2.0 and 4x 12G-SDI inputs. With 16x 5Gbps Ethernet ports and 2x 40Gbps optical ports, the CX80 Pro delivered exceptional output capacity. The controller included advanced features such as Image Scaling (custom and pixel-to-pixel modes), Color Replacement, 14-Channel Color Correction, 3D LUT support (17×17×17 .cube files), Dynamic Booster for real-time contrast enhancement, Full Grayscale Calibration, HDR10 support (SMPTE ST 2084 and SMPTE ST 2086), low latency operation, and Frame Rate Adaptive capabilities. It supported All-In-One Controller and Send-Only Controller working modes, and included a 5.5-inch touch LCD screen for user-friendly operation. ⚠️ IMPORTANT: The 5Gbps Ethernet outputs require 5G-compatible receiving cards (CA50E/CA50C/XA50) - NOT compatible with standard Gigabit Ethernet receiving cards. **RECOMMENDED ALTERNATIVES:** For similar functionality with current software support, consider the CX40 Pro or MX2000 Pro/MX6000 Pro controllers paired with the MX_1x40G Fiber Output Card-S and CVT8-5GS fiber converter.
